We are taking part in the European Interreg project EduXR. Our role is to We are part of a European project called EduXR. In this project we make XR apps to help students in healthcare and energy technology learn new skills. The first app is a nursing simulation.
A patient is lying in a hospital bed and two nursing students take care of the patient together. The user plays one of the two students and must do the right actions in the right order. The app helps students practice nursing skills, work together, and learn from mistakes in a safe virtual environment.
For this app we expect the following features to be developed:
- Main menu and navigation
- Save and checkpoint system
- Achievements and score system
- Voice instructions to guide the student
Your internship is to help build templates that we can easily reuse from February 2027 onwards. And while you’re at it… You might as well create your own small game with the templates you’ve developed! You will work together with a software engineer and another intern who focuses on the visual part of the templates.
